What is Nightscout?

Nightscout (CGM in the Cloud) is free open-source software created by the diabetes community that enables remote real-time glucose monitoring. It allows you to display data from CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitoring) systems on any device with a web browser. We offer ready-made hosting of this software - we provide the server, automatic updates, backups and technical support, so you don't have to worry about the technical side.

What is diab.ninja?

Diab.ninja is a Nightscout as a Service solution, also available via the jakicukier.pl platform. It enables secure and controlled sharing of current and historical glucose data with selected individuals such as parents, caregivers, medical staff, or treating physicians. The Diab.ninja service is based on the open-source Nightscout software. Although Nightscout is publicly available and can be deployed independently, doing so requires advanced configuration of technical infrastructure, including servers, databases, storage, and network security. For many users, this represents a significant technical barrier and a risk of unstable operation. Diab.ninja removes these challenges by providing a fully configured and ready-to-use Nightscout instance already during the registration process. The entire system infrastructure is managed automatically, significantly reducing the risk of configuration errors and ensuring a high level of reliability and service security.

Do I need technical knowledge?

No! Everything is maximally simplified. You fill in a simple form with basic data and in a few minutes you have a working Nightscout. You don't need to know about servers, databases or programming.
