GlucoDataHandler (GDH) GlucoDataHandler (GDH) is a phone app that retrieves data from various sources, including Nightscout, and displays it on your phone and Wear OS watch. It is currently one of the simplest and most versatile options available. What you should know about GDH GDH is not a standalone app for Wear OS - configuration is done through the phone app. It supports complications (widgets) on watch faces. It can retrieve data directly from Nightscout using the Pebble interface. It also works with LibreLinkUp, Dexcom Share, xDrip+, Juggluco, AndroidAPS, and many other sources. How to configure GDH step by step Step 1: Install GlucoDataHandler on your phone Open Google Play on your phone. Search for GlucoDataHandler and install it. Launch the app. Step 2: Add a data source - Nightscout In the GDH app on your phone, go to the data source settings. Select Nightscout as the source. Enter the address of your Nightscout instance: https://twoja-nazwa.diab.ninja Enter your API_SECRET (or token, if you use one). Save the settings. If your Nightscout data is available, GDH will start displaying it on your phone. Step 3: Install GDH on your watch Open Google Play on your watch. Search for GlucoDataHandler and install it. Launch the app on your watch - it should automatically connect to the version running on your phone. The watch app does not work on its own - it requires a connection to a phone running GDH. Step 4: Add a complication to your watch face On your watch, press and hold the current watch face to enter edit mode. Select the watch face customization option ( Customize or Edit ). Find a slot intended for a complication (widget). Select GlucoDataHandler from the list of available complications. Save the watch face. After a few moments, your current glucose level should appear on the watch face. Some watch faces support only a limited range of complication types. If GDH does not appear on the list, try another watch face that supports more widget types.
